This model is used to demonstrate groundwater flow and how it can be polluted. The model shows several different layers of sand, gravel and clay. Several different types of wells are also demonstrated in the model. The model can be used to demonstrate how groundwater is formed and how it gets from one place to another. You can demonstrate water quality and how it is polluted, properties of aquifers, characteristics of water wells and interrelationship of groundwater and surface water. Stream Trailer Model Trailer model of a Kansas Stream is available for special demonstrations. The model demonstrations surface and underground water flow, streambank stabilization, sedimentation and stream dynamics. The model accurately recreates stream erosion and water head cutting process. The effects caused by stream channel straightening and gravel dredging can be demonstrated plus many more environmental activities.
